IN THE MAKING OF THIS FILM, OR IN YOUR ROLE, WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
This film could not have been made without the people who have believed in me, in this incredible story and in the words, ‘imagine if’. I am most proud of the friendships and the trust people have shown be it standing in front of the camera, or behind; those who have funded the making of the film; and our small and precious team who has been there, just like Tiwi people, as one.

WHY LIKE MY BROTHER? WHAT SPOKE TO YOU ABOUT THE STORY? WHY DID YOU JUMP ON BOARD?
I just loved the idea of girls taking risks and trying to break through in areas usually dominated by men. The football culture in the Tiwi Islands is phenomenal, the love of the game transcends gender and it was so lovely to see women’s sporting achievements being celebrated by everyone on the islands. But it was more than that, it was the fact that these girls were brave enough to dare to dream and I think that was contagious and I wanted to be part of it.

IN THE MAKING OF THIS FILM, OR IN YOUR ROLE, WHAT HAS SURPRISED YOU?
A realisation that we don’t have to start with full capacity. With the right will and energy you can build it as you go. Put more simply, our passion for the project allowed us to learn the skills we needed as were needed to get the job done so this story could be celebrated & shared.

IN THE MAKING OF THIS FILM, OR IN YOUR ROLE, WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
I'm proud of what we have achieved as a group. I love talking to the girls about it and hearing them say they are proud of what they did and they can't wait to share it with the world. I'm proud to be part of this. I'm also proud of the song we made for it. It was a tough process creating ‘Dare to Dream’ but I absolutely love it.

WHY LIKE MY BROTHER? WHAT SPOKE TO YOU ABOUT THE STORY? WHY DID YOU JUMP ON BOARD?
I was hooked on Like My Brother more years ago than I can say - from the moment that I saw footage of the girls playing barefoot a brand of football that I just found too exciting not to bring to the world.

WHY LIKE MY BROTHER? WHAT SPOKE TO YOU ABOUT THE STORY? WHY DID YOU JUMP ON BOARD?
The story kind of writes itself. A group of determined young women with the odds stacked against them. A wealth of untapped potential. A community and culture that most don’t fully understand. All of this, already recorded and sitting on a few hard drives in a post house, how could you possibly say no?
